Football, school, birthdays and more football

Once again life is super busy, so this is another catch up post.  Alex and Michael are both playing  football.  This is Alex at one of his games.

Michael started 7th grade this year.  He is finally in Middle School.  Yay!

Alex started 3rd grade.

We celebrated Charlie's birthday.

Caroline sleeping.  This is the only time that she will wear bows.  She will stay up late and change her clothes and look and books instead of going to sleep.  What a little stinker.  She is my girl though.  We love to stay up late and sleep late.  Too bad the rest of the world doesn't function like that.

Michael turned 13!  He was so excited for his present to arrive.  He wouldn't even wait until after he changed out of his football clothes.

This is what we did for conference weekend. We canned peaches, pickles, mustard pickles, jam, grape juice and toasted sunflower seeds.  We still need to finish the apples.  Canning is such a time consuming process.  We also made 8 loaves of zucchini bread (that was in the oven at the time of the photo)

All in all life is good.  Super duper busy, but good.
