“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning to dance in the rain.”

"I believe that among the greatest lessons we're to learn in this short sojourn upon earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. And what is most important almost always involve the people around us. Often we assume that they must know how much we love them, but we should never assume. We should let them know." Pres. Thomas S. Halloween and Playoffs

I think that Halloween is about the dumbest holiday ever created, but this year I thought that it was kind of fun.  I think that it is stupid to buy candy, then dress up and exchange candy and then throw most of it away.  And I hate picking up all of the wrappers for the entire week following Halloween.  This year I had fun dressing up the kids and Michael took the kids out trick or treating and I stayed inside with our fun neighbor Angela and ate pizza and just hung out. So this year I quite enjoyed this pointless holiday.  Caroline was two different princesses.  First for dance class she was Cinderella and for preschool and Halloween she was a Barbie princess.  She loved being a princess.

Alex wanted to be a zombie and Charlie was Darth Vader.

Both Alex and Michael did awesome in football this year.  Alex's team made it to the playoffs but lost their playoff game.  Michael's  team won their playoff game and is now going to play for the championship this Saturday.  We are so excited.  These are pictures of Michael's playoff game.  It was cold and snowy.  That is Michael # 67.
